Caliber is .44, barrel length is 3". This revolver dates to 1980, the first year Colt reintroduced the popular Sheriff model. Features of the Sheriff model include short barrel and fixed sight with no provision for ejector rod. This revolver features the blue and case color finish and comes with the dual cylinder set up to fire both the .44 special as well as the .44-40 cartridge. It is a six shot, single action and comes with original factory walnut grips with the addition of a custom set of Colt gold medallion two piece ivory grips. Gun is housed in a beautiful walnut display case with glass lid. The gun shows in near new condition retaining virtually all original finish.
