Barrel length is 4-3/4", caliber is .45 Colt. Manufactured in 1882. This is a six shot single action. All metal is a blue grey patina. The barrel has been shortened. It has a single line address. The gutta percha grips have worn almost smooth and do not fit perfectly and were from another gun. Has all visible matching numbers. Indexes properly but has only three clicks. The screw in frame has a replaced screw, a new front sight has been set into place, and a strong clean bore. Should make a fine cowboy action shooter. the screw threads on frame are worn and grips can be aligned and maybe be original to gun, but cannot be positive.
