Manufactured in the 1980s by Tippmann Arms of Fort Wayne, Indiana, this is a finely made copy of the 1919 Browning 30 Caliber Machine Gun, scaled down to match the 22 Long Rifle cartridge and configured for semi-automatic fire only. Overall length is 19 inches, with a blade front sight and folding adjustable rear sight on the receiver, air-cooled barrel with ventilated head shield, and a checkered pistol grip. The right side of the receiver is marked "MOD. 1919/NO. 0105/TIPPMANN ARMS CO./FT. WAYNE, IN." behind the cocking handle, and a sliding safety is installed on the rear above the pistol grip. Included with the 1919 is a folding steel tripod, scaled to match and fitted with a proper traverse and elevation mechanism, a hardwood military-style case, an instruction sheet, two OD green scale ammunition cans and two plastic cartridge belts. Never fired, still has original tape on belts.
