Antique, .45-90 WCF, Barrel length 26"Factory research lists this rifle as follows: Type: Rifle; Caliber: 45/90; Barrel type: octagon; Trigger: plain; 1/2 magazine; Received in warehouse December 29, 1898. This rifle letters all the way and remains in fine, all original condition. This rifle features a blue, full octagon barrel with standard sporting sights, razor sharp legends and edges, it retains approximately 90% original factory blue finish. The frame, lever, fore-end cap and hammer were factory case colored. The cap retains traces of color. Frame retains approximately 30% of case colors, some brilliant. With strong colors on hammer and right side of lever. Bolt retains virtually all of the original high polish factory blue. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips, just a couple of minor abrasions. It has a fine action. Strong, clean rifle bore. Lower left frame screw is damaged and should be replaced. This special order Model 1886 has condition and caliber. Extremely scarce to find with the full octagon barrel and button magazine.
