J. Russell & Co. Green River Works large butcher knife with an 11-1/4" blade and overall length of 16-1/2". Five pin hard wood handle; circa 19th century. Goodell Co. Pat. Oct. 6th, 1868 butcher knife with a 6-3/8" blade and an overall length of 10-3/4". One pin hard wood handle; circa 19th century. J. Russell & Co. Green River Works table knife with a 4-3/4" blade handled in bone that is cracks on one side; circa 19th century. H.C. Booth & Co. Silver Steel Sheffield early hunting knife with a 6" saber ground spear point blade, overall length of 10-1/4". Blade shows pitting on both sides, handle is smooth white bone that is free of cracks or chips. Fitted with a nickel silver escutcheon and finger guard; circa 1870s. J. Russell & Co. Green River Works Bowie style hunting knife with a 6" saber ground clip point blade, overall length if 10-1/2". Handle has been replaces with a genuine stag one. Replacement handle has epoxy fills. Nickel silver oval guard; circa 1884 to 1941. I*XL Geo. Wostenholm's (front tang) English example of a 19th century dirk with genuine ivory handles. Back tang shows a figure of a horse and rider. Handle has nickel silver mounts, escutcheons, and tang cover. Blade measures 6-3/4" with an overall length of 10-3/4", shows harsh cleaning and pitting. Back side of handled is cracked at center pin. Two circular bone inlays where in handle only one remains; circa 1870s.
