2-3/4" barrel in .41 percussion caliber. Undoubtedly one of the most infamous firearms in American history, this is the model and caliber of the gun used by John Wilkes Booth to assassinate Abraham Lincoln. Top of the barrel is marked "Deringer" with light engraving at breach. Also has an engraved sideplate and hammer. Walnut stocks are excellent and checkered at grip. It is further adorned with a plated shield and small scroll on left side with an engraved trigger guard. It is a single shot in working order with a strong rifled bore with some black powder corrosion. Overall, extremely fine all original condition.
