.22 rimfire with a 2-1/4" barrel. Manufactured 1873 to 1877. Features seven shot, single action, spur trigger, nickel finish, rosewood bird head grips with fire blue hammer. Perfect etched panel on left side of barrel (Colt New .22). Original fire blue still on screws. Near mint grips. 98% nickel on barrel and frame. 85% on cylinder with high edge wear. Strong clean bore and perfect action. Cylinder face shows no apparent burn marks. Very fine condition all original etched panel. This is considered a second model long flute.
