.30-06 cal, Barrel length 24". Referred to as the Model 45 Super, this rifle was manufactured from 1928-1940 only. It was similar to the Model 40, but with a Lyman receiver sight and checkered walnut stock. It is a bolt action, magazine fed, with blued finish and standard sporting sights. Rifle remains in beautiful, all original factory condition. Retianing 98% finish on metal, with near mint dark checkered walnut stocks. With metal serrated butt plate and sling eyes. Fine action with a strong near new bore. This is an extremely handsome, high quality, high condition, seldom seen, pre-war, bolt action sporting rifle.
