Barrel length 26". Caliber .30-06. Barrel is stamped R 9-18 with flaming bomb. Walnut stock has a number 2 stamped in left side. Wrist has eagle head with 24. End of stock has the Remington R stamp. Left side of frame has flaming bomb. Bolt release has eagle head stamp. Flaming bomb is on bolt, stamped R. Safety has eagle head stamp. Rifle is all original World War I with all Remington stamped parts. World War I original blue finish. Stock is excellent, few minor abrasions. Floor plate is blue brown patina. generous amount of blue brown on receiver. Has an ME reading of 1.5 with strong rifle bore and perfect action. Has original period sling with brass frogs. Overall a far above average World War I Remington with no rebuild parts or marks. Stocks are excellent with original finish.
