Barrel length 24", .30-06 caliber. Manufactured from Dec 1953 - Feb 1955. Bolt is stamped "6528287 HRA U" (proper). Rear sight is a proper Type 4 post war. Barrel is dated April 1954 with HRA stamp. It has a D653448. It is also stamped RS32 and several inspector marks. Left side of stock has the HRA eagle, 3-star inspector stamp, Type 2, referred to as the "DOD eagle and 3 stars". It has Block P in circle on wrist (proper). It has an ME reading of 2. The receiver retains approximately 90% of the original phosphate military finish. Barrel and cylinder trap retain a pleasing blue-grey mix. Original finish stock is excellent with a few minor dings. Gas cylinder nut is stamped "HRA" (proper). This rifle was produced immediately after the Korean War hostilities had ended. Fine example and HRA rifle. Fine H. R. A. with all correct parts. Bore is shiny and bright.
