5-1/2" barrel in .45 ACP caliber. Made in 1917. this revolver is a six shot, double action, blued finish, case colored hammer and trigger, with smooth walnut grips and lanyard ring. Left side of frame has the Ordnance bomb. Butt is stamped "U.S. Army Model 1917". Underside of barrel is stamped "United States Property". Trigger bow has eagle head inspector stamp. Gun remains in near mint condition, showing very little use with a light drag line, high edge cylinder wear, light muzzle wear, and some freckling on rear backstrap. Brilliant case colors. Excellent original walnut grips. Strong bore and perfect action. Overall, an extremely nice revolver with original commercial quality blue finish. The revolver comes with its original brown leather U.S. holster dated 1917, an original web belt, original canvas ammo pouch with six half moon clips, with lanyard. Beautiful original World War I outfit.
