6-1/2" barrel in .44 Smith & Wesson Special caliber. This model is referred to as the .44 hand ejector Fourth Model target introduced in 1950. It came standard on a square butt N frame five screw, 6-1/2" barrel, blued finish, six shot, double action, case colored hammer and trigger, and silver medallion diamond checkered walnut grips with black disc. Right panel numbered to gun. The serial number puts the production at 1955-56. It exhibits light muzzle wear, light drag line, some high edge wear and thinning at cylinder. Retains 97% original factory high polish blue finish. Grips are excellent. Fine clean bore. Perfect action. Very desirable big .44 target gun.
