5-1/2" barrel in .36 percussion caliber. This special edition is No. 9 of 950 manufactured of the 1862 Police Commemorative, a golden tribute to Sam Colt produced for the American Historical Foundation. It is a five shot, single action percussion that has been beautifully scroll engraved and all metal parts are completely gold plated. It bears the tag of Joseph A. Murphy of New Hope, Pennsylvania whose collection prowess is universally known, and even resulted in a book. It is housed in a custom walnut and glass case lined in purple velvet with a gold plated powder flask, nipple wrench, and a bullet mold. This is a full operational revolver that has never been fired and has no drag line.
