.30-30 caliber, barrel length 20". Standard features include: full magazine, two barrel bands, sporting rear sight, sporting front sight, case colored frame lever, pistol grip walnut stock, black composite shotgun butt plate, barrel and tube retain approx 90% original factory blue, starting to thin at breech, with sharp barrel legend, walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with usual bumps and bruises, minor loss of original gloss. Frame retains approx 30% of original case colors with same on lever, bore is excellent, action perfect. The Marlin Model 1936 utilized the Model 1893 frame but was given a more modern look with regards to the stock. This rifle eventually evolved into the Model 336. This model is seldom seen today in such nice condition. Model 1936 was only manufactured 1936-1937 and became the Model 36 in 1937. Which would account for the few surviving, high condition examples.
