Barrel length 26", .12 bore. These shotgun were manufactured from 1931-1949. Referred to as the Model 31A Slide Action and features the blue finish with the checkered walnut grip and Remington composite butt plate. This shotgun is in near mint condition, retaining virtually all of its original factory blue finish. With some very minor age freckling on frame. Checkered walnut stocks are also near mint with a couple of minor impressions. It comes in its original cardboard box with matching end label with matching serial number. Barrel listed as plain. It is interesting to note that on the end label, it is marked "improved" which has been crossed out and "CYL" is written underneath in the same pen and hand. Likewise, the barrel has "IM" x'd out and is stamped "CYL". Box has its original liners, wood plug, and pamphlet. This is the first of these that we've seen in its original box. Bore is mint.
