.38-40 caliber, barrel length 24". Manufactured 1907. Offered is a Standard Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle in the popular .38 caliber. Features: full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting front and rear sight, blue finish, walnut stock with rifle butt plate. Barrel retain approx 70% original finish, starting to turn, with high edge wear. The tube retains approx 85% original blue. The foreend cap and frame are basically a light grey patina. 40% blue on bolt. Stocks are excellent and proud to metal. The foreend has a 3/4" dent at bottom. Butt stock is excellent with no cracks or chips. Strong rifle bore with slight frosting.
