Circa mid-1800s. Two 11.5-inch cardboard dolls with twelve outfits that include two different bridal gowns, a riding costume, an afternoon dress, five capes and shawls, and five headdresses. The clothing is hand colored with egg wash highlights. The box has corner and side splits, color chipping and soil. The centerpiece is mid-century romantic with three beautiful women and two children enjoying a sunny day in the garden. A marvelous set in magnificent condition.
