Serial # 136811 .41 Long Colt caliber with a 6" barrel. Manufactured in 1902. Offered is a fairly scarce 6" Colt Model 1877 double action in the desirable .41 caliber. The revolver is all original. Standard features include 6" barrel, six shot, double action, case colored frame and black gutta percha grips. The barrel and cylinder are a pleasing smooth blue-brown patina. Case colors have basically greyed out. Original grips are excellent with no cracks or chips with some of the checkering worn smooth from carry. Ejector rod housing is grey-brown patina with some freckling. Cylinder indexes single action but double action will not set the hammer. Strong legends. Near mint bore. As usual, the double action mechanism will need some attention to be put back into perfect working order. It is fairly difficult to find the .41 caliber Colt with the longer barrel, and this is a very pleasing, honest, all original example.
