1897. Two 14.75” x 22” New York Herald sheets. Includes “My Lady Faire Doll”. A stand-up doll can be made from each sheet by pasting a front/back doll together, attaching her bodice and sliding her into a huge circular skirt. One sheet advertises the “Society Smoke”, Le Roy Cigarettes and the other has a drawing of a couple on a bicycle built for two while cupid rests on a fence. Fragile sheets with small tears and small pieces broken off. Lot also includes late 19th century, two framed/matted Epinal sheets of Punch/Judy characters. Columbine is on one and Polichinelle and Arelequin on the other.
