Has the late adjustable 1,000 meter rear sight, walnut 23-groove grips, late trigger, early safety and large ring hammer. Mauser stamp on top of bridge and serial number to left. Imperial German proof mark on left side of slide. All matching numbers inside and out. Safety retains 90% of the original Nitre blue finish. All internal small parts are numbered 251. Walnut grips are excellent with a couple small chips. Flatside frame retains approximately 85-90% original blue finish with a few areas of freckling. Slide and barrel retain about 90% original blue finish. Still has Nitre blue on the sight slide bar. Bottom last 1" of barrel has worn to gun metal grey. Fine bore and action. Overall, a very nice example of a flatside large hammer with all matching numbers and lots of original condition. These early flatsides are getting extremely difficult to find and you can travel to numerous gun shows without ever seeing one.
