Henry McIntire (American, 1872 - 1963). Portrait of Thomas Jefferson done in pastels. Thomas Jefferson is shown in a black coat, sitting with his hands on some papers on the table in front of him, with red curtains and a stone column behind him. Very old paper attached has "Henry McIntire/Philadelphia/1941" printed on it. Professionally framed in museum glass and gilt wood. Work has not been examined outside of frame. Providence: Raymond E. Holland American Art.
