Portrait of an American four star General painted in oil on board with a dark plain wooden frame. The General faces the viewer with a stern gaze from an oval within a yellow boarder. Paint has a rough texture. Marked "J. F. Harvey" in the lower edge of the oval. Frame has some wear, nicks and scrapes, and the back has paint peeling.
