A Patek Philippe 18K Gold 1917 Chronometro Gondolo Pocket Watch with a 18k gold chain. The diameter is 56mm. The dial is signed "Patek Philippe & Cie Geneve Chronometro Gondolo". Open face. Pinion set. This pocket watch winds, sets, and runs. A Patek Philippe Gondolo pocket featuring a white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers and a subsidiary seconds register. The dial features heavy gold baton hour hand and minute hand. The subsidiary seconds register features a fine blue steel seconds hand. The dial is in excellent condition showing a single hairline crack at the 9-11 position. The case shows a engine turned finish with an empty monogram center space. The case is also in excellent condition showing a few minor dents. The inner caseback is stamped "PP.&Co 18KTS 280691". The Helvetia 18k hallmark is present. The Patek Philippe Calatrava Cross is present. The dust cover is engraved "CHRONOMETRO GONDOLO FABRICADO EXPRESSAMENTE PARA GONDOLO & LABOURIAU RELOJOEIROS RIO DE JANEIRO NO 180260, PATEK , PHILIPPE & CIE GENE'VE". The inner dust cover is stamped with the Helvetia 18k hallmark and the Patek Philippe Calatrava Cross. The inner dust cover also reads "18K 280691". The movement is signed "PATEK, PHILIPPE & CIE NO 180260 GENE'VE". 96 dwt.
