Manufactured for the German military by Mauser. This is a 1936 chamber date S/42 code. Features include round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "S/42", correct "(eagle) 63" Waffenamts on right side of receiver. Gun retains approximately 95% of the original factory applied blue. Correct strawed small parts. This is an all matching numbers gun with two nickeled matching numbered magazines. Magazines are marked "1" and "2" in the police style. Wood checkered grips. Good bore with sharp lands and grooves. Comes in a minty GENSCHOW & CO. Berlin 1936 black holster with an eagle 63 loading tool. A hard to find full correct rig with two matching magazines.
