The United States Navy took delivery of 250 Model 1900's from October to November of 1900. Serial range of these pistols was 1001 to 1250; all Navy Models are stamped on left side of frame "USN" with partial serial number, in this case "13". Most carry the trident inspector stamp on right trigger bow, as does this pistol. All Navy pistols have a "B" in triangle on left trigger bow. Shipped with varnished walnut grips, round butt, original sight safety, case colored spur hammer and nickel plated 1884 dated magazine. This example is in superb, all original condition retaining 95% of its original factory high polish royal blue finish with scattered light freckling on slide and only light high edge wear with razor sharp legends. Bright case colors on hammer. Fire blue on screws. Grips are excellent with no cracks. Fine bore and action.
