The deep, rich Colt royal blue finish and the bright case colors nearly jump off the table. The round barrel retains approximately 95% of the brilliant high polish Colt factory blue finish with just little storage nicks and some muzzle wear. The case colors on left side of hammer and loading lever are nearly 100%, most still brilliant. Frame retains approximately 80-90% color, some still brilliant. The blued fluted cylinder retains approximately 80%+ blue mixed with light plum. Trigger guard and backstrap retain approximately 10% of the original plating. Varnished walnut grips are near mint. All nipples are original. You will find full or partial matching serial numbers on frame, barrel, cylinder, wedge, trigger guard and backstrap. One little finger print sized areas of cleaning on right side of frame. Revolver indexes and locks up like new. Bore is near mint. This is one of the nicest examples of this revolver that has crossed our table. From the Jim Linton Collection.
