Bbls with raised ventilated rib are marked "MODEL 21 - CSM - TRADEMARK - 28 GAUGE 2-3/4" on top of left barrel, front ivory bead. Bottoms of barrels and engine turned flats are marked with all pertinent information including chokes of "full" and "full". Blued flat side action with lightening cuts in water table, automatic safety, and gold-plated single selective trigger, is engraved and carved in 21-6 style with near full coverage varying sized scroll surrounding relief engraved vignettes of dogs and game; retriever on left and pointer on right side, pair of pheasant on trigger plate, and portrait of spaniel on trigger guard bow. XXX crotch figured American walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-1/8" over checkered wood butt. Point pattern checkering is at grip, and gold oval engraved with initials "TMW" is on toe line. Matching beavertail forend with contrasting wood tip has engine turned internals and reinforcing brace. Bill Trotter collection. Excellent condition, retaining over 95% original finish, silvering a touch on high points of action, and with some light marks and rubs in wood. Bores appear excellent but are dirty. Mechanically fine.
