The Model 24 Takedown shotgun with visible hammer was manufactured 1908 to 1915. The Grade C features fancy grained checkered pistol grip stock and forend with engraved designs on both sides of frame, in this case we have ducks on left and pigeons on right. Features a matted barrel, single bead, smokeless steel, blued finish with a black composite buttplate, and checkered pistol grip stock with triple X walnut and extra finish. CONDITION: Barrel and tube retain nearly 100% of their expertly reapplied blued finish. The beautiful high polish factory blue receiver retains approximately 95% original finish. Checkering is sharp and wood is near exhibition grade in excellent condition. Case colors on hammer have darkened. Nice clean bore.
