Standard Springfield Model 1884, serial number 453331. Left side of breech stamped "FOX STUDIO" and on top, "137." The left side of the stock is stamped in large letters "BRONCHO MP CO" and the bottom of the forend is stamped with a Fox Studios cartouche. The rifle is in rough condition due to its use in many films and has some losses to wood. The rear sight, hammer screw, and cleaning rod are missing. With some diligent research, one might be able to identify this rifle in a movie. Many of the Fox Studio prop guns were sold at auction in 1988, this example being one of them.
