HANDEL WATER BEARER TABLE LAMP.Handel table lamp has rare Water Bearer lamp base depicting kneeling woman with water jug on shoulder. Base has three-socket cluster, pierced fleur-de-lis cap and is finished with deep brown patina. Signed on edge of foot with impressed block letters "Handel" and also on bottom with applied cloth tag "Handel Lamps". Base supports leaded glass shade with striated orange, pink and red glass flower petals against background of green striated stylized leaves. Shade is signed with small applied tag "Handel". SIZE: Shade is 18-1/2" dia. Lamp is 24-1/2" t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with very few if any tight hairlines. Base is very good with minor blistering to finish. Re-wired with appropriate cloth cord. 50514-1 DAB (3,000-4,000)
