This is a standard C96 Broomhandle Mauser pistol. The gun has been restored at some point, fairly good job. All markings are still clear. The bolt stop is broken off with a piece missing. The slide has a welded repair to the metal just behind the bolt stop on the right side, done before being refinished. Original grips. Accompanied by a reproduction wood shoulder stock/holster with leather and rod, as well as spare magazine spring. CONDITION: Fine as refinished. Markings are clear. Bore is good with light pitting/frosting in the grooves, rifling shows wear. Good mechanical function, however the broken bolt stop should be addressed for safety reasons. The gun works well when the bolt is able to fully go forward when loading a round, however if it hangs up on the follower, you have to pull the slide forward a little to get the trigger to engage the hammer. Grips are good showing wear and age. Accessories have some light handling marks.
