This is a very scarce variation of the Mauser Broomhandle pistol. The flat side pistols, featuring a large ring hammer were made approximately 1899-1900. This is a nice, honest example which has not been redone as so many of these have. This gun is accompanied by a reproduction wood shoulder stock. CONDITION: Retains 75% thinning blue with some areas of pitting on the bottom of the barrel. All markings are clear. Wood grips are very good with varnish wear. Bore has light frosting/pitting with good rifling showing some wear. Fine mechanical function. Stock is fine with some light handling marks.
