This fine rifle was built on May 24th, 1897 and shipped July 22nd, 1898. It is an octagon barrel rifle in caliber .32-40 with special order close set double triggers, takedown. Features Beeches folding front sight, Winchester sporting rear sight, tang sight with large disc, blued finish, case colored hammer and lever, and extra finish walnut stocks. CONDITION: Remains in phenomenal all original condition. There are a few handling marks scattered about. Blue on takedown collar is just starting to thin; 97% original blue throughout. Frame still exhibits mirror polish. Case colors on side of lever are brilliant with nice case colors on hammer and even 30-50% case colors on buttplate. Stock is near mint. Bore is brilliant.
