Lot consists of: World War II caps - unless noted, all display bullion oak leaves on their visors: (A) Tan- top cap by "Art Caps New York", interior sleeve displays a calling card reading "John William Gurry, Lieutenant Commander Civil Engineers Corps". CONDITION: Excellent with minor tarnish on the front insignia. (B) Black-top cap by "Berkshire-Flex". CONDITION: Very good with the interior leather sweatband partially detached. (C) Grey-top cap by "Art Caps". CONDITION: Very good with a few areas of wear on the grey top. (D) Post World War II tan-top cap with unmarked interior. CONDITION: Excellent. (E) White-top cap with interior label reading "Presented 16. Oct. 1944, U.S.S. New York, H Division, F. L. Barrows Lieut. (DC) USNR". CONDITION: Very good with the exception on the white top which shows staining. (F) Post World War II white-top cap by Bancroft. CONDITION: Interior sweatband is fragmented, white top shows toning. (G) Post World War II tan-top cap by Bancroft. CONDITION: Excellent. (H) Tan-top cap by "Art Caps". CONDITION: Excellent. (I) White-top cap with non-military bullion insignia. CONDITION: Very good with moderate wear and staining. DG
