Lot consists of: two silver ladles, one with English hallmarks, the other with American hallmark "H&M" and with monogram "MCL" on front. Both have spiraling horn handles terminating in a silver cap. Lot also includes a pair of silver stirrups, possibly 18th century. Both have spiked silver wheels. There is also a pair of 18th century iron shoe buckles, a pair of small silver shoebuckles with English hallmarks and a single American hallmarked belt buckle stamped "HW" and inscribed with the initials "FD". It is chased with relief floral motifs around the entire perimeter. Also included is P. Holmberg marked compact knife marked Sweden and a 1761 dated snuff box inscribed to George Allder and it appears to read "Clerk of Berks County". CONDITION: Lid shows some wear to inscription and retains a light grey patina overall. There is also a framed bronze medallion with a relief bust of King George III, inscription around perimeter reads "King George III King of Great Britain ETC". CONDITION: Bronze coin retains a dark mustard patina, frame appears period as well. An unusual snuffbox with a dial and a hand that has an unusual locking mechanism, appears to be 18th century. A pair of brass and iron scissors with pierced brass handles and silver Kaftgari work on both sides. Blades were originally fire blued and retain generous traces of finish. A German silver lined wooden flask with threaded horn spout engraved on the front with a paneled scene of two pheasants above and another paneled scene of a doe and a buck, both scenes surrounded by scrolls. Flask is probably English. CONDITION: Very good. A very interesting lot of unusual and decorative English and American items, mostly 18th and early 19th century. DMG
