Quillback blade with iron hilt. Sharkskin and wire wrapped grips. Horstmann and Weyersberg marked blade. Blade pad in place. Blade plated and etched on obverse with foliate scrolls at either extreme, US shield with flags and liberty cap on pole, American eagle and motto, conical tent. Obverse etched with foliate scrolls, American eagle, Tecumseh with raised tomahawk, "C.T." in oval wreath. CONDITION: Good. Scabbard grey with dark grey spots, rings, throat, drag in place. Iron hilt dark, but wrap and binding are in place and very good. Edge and point good. Etching and frosting very visible, but grey spots to plating and freckling near the tip. (SR).
