Lot contains: (A) Luftwaffe leather flight helmet, (B) Heer pith helmet, (C) Hitler Youth overseas cap, (D) Hitler Youth M43 cap, and (E) Third Reich DAF cap. (A) Luftwaffe brown leather fur lined flight helmet with the large "Siemens" maker/ information label sewn on the inside rear. This helmet is complete and the brown leather shell is supple, with some light wear on the front rim and chin strap. This model has both the throat microphones, and the plug in cord. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) Unissued Heer pith helmet constructed in an olive felt with light age wear. A green cotton lining covers the interior and only exhibits light staining. Center is in an undamaged red felt. Leather liner band is in tan leather and undamaged, with a marking of "JHS" embossed on it, as well as "GERMANY" stamped in blue ink. Helmet trim is an olive leather with light wear and damage. Green leather chinstrap with is attached with very light wear, and steel fittings with patina. Both the national colors and Heer aluminum emblems are originally attached, both retain 95+% of their painted finish. CONDITION: Near mint. (C) Hitler Youth overseas cap with a HJ pin with a quarter inch chip to the lower red enamel, and a SA style eagle hand applied through the lining. Both appear to be era applied. Tan cotton twill exterior appears to be undamaged. The top of the cap is closed by stitches inside, to create a look which was very popular. Tan rayon lining is also undamaged with a size stamp of "52". Leather sweat band has light stains. CONDITION: Excellent to near mint. (D) Hitler Youth M43 style cap with no visible markings. Late war quality dark blue exterior with light wear, with a hand applied HJ diamond on front. Black leather brim rim. Steel buttons are pinned on with dual prongs, with very little black paint on the exterior. Light brown rayon lining with a two inch hole in the center and the rear seam being unstitched. CONDITION: Near excellent. (E) RAF (Reichs Arbeitsfront) enlisted overseas cap with a two inch "RZM" tag machine sewn inside. Cap appears to be untouched made from a dark blue wool with very light wear. Enlisted Bevo eagle is folded and correctly hand applied. Light blue rayon piping is undamaged but has brown staining on a small area on the rear where the piping meets. Black cotton lining is undamaged and the light brown partial leather sweat band has light wear and staining. CONDITION: Excellent. WZ
