World War I group consisting of: Wool tunic displaying one engineers collar disk, single bullion overseas chevron, discharge chevron and French-made patch; wool trousers: pair of wool leg wraps; British army issue leather / canvas bag, inked on the front flap "Pvt O.W. Shew 122 Engineers Co. B"; Model 1917 combat helmet; nine pocket cartridge belt; mess kit with utensils; Model 1917 knuckle knife marked "U.S. L.F. & C 1917", no scabbard; sewing kit; shaving kit; included is a group of World War I newspapers, postcards and manuals. CONDITION: The trousers display a few scattered holes, knuckle knife displays pitting, the remainder in very good condition showing moderate service wear. DG
