Lot consists: (A) Medal group identified to Richard S Horner, which consists of: Purple Heart, officially renamed on the reverse "T/5 Richard S. Horner, 33589345", European theater campaign medal, Asiatic - Pacific campaign medal, Good Conduct medal and Victory medal. Included are Horner's discharge papers. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) US Navy Good Conduct medal, named on the reverse: "Earl Robert Cross 1942", Asiatic Pacific campaign medal, American Campaign medal and Victory medal. Included are two sets of ribbon bars and a number of original documents pertaining to Cross' service. CONDITION: Excellent. (C) Air Medal, Victory medal, mechanics badge, dog tags named "Robert Ackerman". Included are collar disks, ribbon bars, chevrons and a file containing his Air Medal award documents, service records and letters. CONDITION: Excellent. (D) Medal group identified to "John B Daqust", the group consists of two named Silver Star medals, named Distinguished Flying Cross and named Air Medal. CONDITION: Excellent, one of the Silver Stars has been officially renamed. (E) Two Riker boxes of U.S. cloth and metal insignia, including slot and crimp brooch medals.
