Lot consists of: (A) "Reichs Arbeit Dienst" Leader dagger, and (B) "Reichs Arbeit Dienst" Enlisted dagger. (A) RAD Leader dagger with unsharpened blade marked "F. & A. Helbig, Steinbach" with moderate runner marks, scattered marks, and the motto "Arbeit adelt" etched onto the blade. Blade will clean up. White trylon grip has a small crack on one panel. Late pot metal fittings are in fair condition with less than 10% of their original finish remaining. Scabbard has approximately 55% of its original finish remaining. CONDITION: Overall good condition. (B) RAD Enlisted dagger with unsharpened blade marked "Carl Eickhorn, Solingen" with moderate runner marks, moderate scattered marks, with the motto "Arbeit adelt" etched onto the blade. Blade will clean up. Stag grips appear to be undamaged. German silver metal fittings have heavy staining and heavy patina. Scabbard has approximately 10% of its original black paint remaining , and German silver fittings have heavy staining and heavy patina. CONDITION: Overall good condition. WZ
