Lot consists of: (A) World War II Japanese bayonet marked "Hoten" with light freckling and staining to approximately 50% of the blade. Grips are dark with age and blued fittings are very good. Scabbard retains approximately 50% of its finish, with patina. CONDITION: Good. (B) World War II Japanese bayonet marked "Nagoya" with leather frog. Blade retains approximately 85% of its blued finish, grips is dark with numerous dings, and fittings retain most of their blue finish. Scabbard retains approximately 90% of its blued finish with patina. Brown leather frog is nicely marked and dry. CONDITION: Excellent overall. (C) US World War II M1 Garand bayonet with scabbard in unissued condition. Blade is marked "UC" and retains 95%+ of its finish. Scabbard is just marked "US", and throat fitting has nice patina. CONDITION: Near mint. (C) US 1918 dated bayonet with blade shorted to less than 8", and the serial number of 839598. Scabbard is for a 9" blade. CONDITION: Very good. (D) German k98 bayonet dated 1938 and maker marked "W.K.C.". Blade retains less than 40% of its original finish and is mismatched to the scabbard. Scabbard has no finish and is completely freckled, with the throat assembly missing. Leather frog appears to be a Czech variant and is dirty and dry. CONDITION: Poor. (E) Unmarked German dress bayonet with no provision to be mounted. Blade is near mint and retains all of its nickel finish. Grips are undamaged and nickel fittings have a uniform patina. Unmarked scabbard retains approximately 90% of its original black painted finish. CONDITION: Near mint. (F) Unmarked German dress bayonet with no provision to be mounted. Blade is near mint and retains 95% of its nickel finish. Blade edge has several tiny dings. Grips are undamaged and nickel fittings have a uniform patina. Unmarked scabbard retains approximately 70% of its original black painted finish. CONDITION: Excellent. WZ
