Lot consists of: (A) Early SA dagger with a "F.DICK" marked blade, and (B) Early SA dagger with a "Gebr Heller" marked blade. (A) SA dagger with a "F.DICK" marked blade with moderate runner and scattered marks, cross-graining, and freckling to 15-20% of its finish. More than a dozen tiny nicks on present on the unsharpened blade edges. The SA motto of "Alles fur Deutschland" is present on the blade. Solid nickel fittings have a uniform nice age patina, and the cross guard has the SA District marking of "Wm" (Westmark). Rosewood grip is in excellent condition with a couple of light dings. SA emblem and eagle are original to the grip and in excellent condition. Scabbard retains approximately 35-40% of its original brown painted finish, with freckling in the remaining areas. Solid nickel fittings have a nice age patina throughout, and the scabbard tip is dented and has a crack running through its center. CONDITION: Overall very good condition. (B) SA dagger with a "Gebr Heller" marked blade with moderate runner and scattered marks, cross-graining, and freckling to 10-15% of its finish. The SA motto of "Alles fur Deutschland" is present on the blade. Solid nickel fittings have a uniform nice age patina, and the cross guard has the SA District marking of "Th" (Thuringen). Rosewood grip is in excellent condition with a couple of moderate dings. SA emblem and eagle are original to the grip and in very good to excellent condition. Scabbard retains approximately 35-40% of its original brown painted finish, with freckling in the remaining areas. Solid nickel fittings have a nice age patina throughout, and the scabbard tip is dented. CONDITION: Overall very good condition. WZ
