German WWII Heer reissued M35 double decal helmet marked "SE64" for the maker of "Sachsische Emaillerwerk" and in a shell size of 64, with a lot number of "3051". The medium liner is in size 56. Shell retains 65-70% of its reissued rough green paint, with worn areas exposing its original earlier smoother paint. Interior retains approximately 90% of its smooth green finish, with dust and dirt in the center area. Heer decal (ET type) with gold toning is in approximately 85% condition with the required era coat of lacquer, which shows up nicely with a blacklight. There are two drips of the reissue paint over the decal in the center top. Tri-color national decal is in 75-80% condition, also with the required era applied lacquer. Original early aluminum liner band is present and is untouched. Liner is complete, untouched, in a darker brown color, with a size stamp of "56",with moderate fraying to the leather around the edge, and stains from being worn. Original liner drawstring is present. Original chinstrap with steel fittings is also present, with moderate wear, and dated "1942" with what appears to be a maker marking of "gtg". Liner assembly appears to be untouched with tight rivets, prongs, and pins. CONDITION: Overall very good and a nice combat example. WZ
