Third Reich Postschutz Leader dagger with a "Paul Weyersburg, Solingen" marked blade, with excellent cross graining, light runner, and scattered marks. The unsharpened nickel plated blade has several tiny freckling spots present along the edges, near the tip, and in the middle. Solid nickel fittings have a uniform nice light age patina, and the black enamel swastikas are undamaged. This dagger is unnumbered. Black leather washer is intact. Black finished wooden grip has a couple of tiny dents, and is very slightly loose. Aluminum postal protection eagle is undamaged. Steel scabbard retains approximately 95% of its original black painted finish. Nickel plated steel fittings have light age patina with very light scratches. Solid nickel chain and fittings are intact with an age patina. CONDITION: Overall excellent to near mint condition. WZ
