Lot consists of (A) World War II production of the triangular bladed bayonet for the Johnson Model 1941 rifle with leather scabbard. This is the finest example we have ever seen as it covered in a brown translucent preservative and is un-used. The scabbard is equally fine with excellent white stitching and clean supple russett leather. CONDITION. Near new with very slight high point wear from storage and chipping of preservative at point. Scabbard is near new. (B) Johnson model 1941 Bayonet with leather scabbard. CONDITION. Very fine with slight finish loss from being mounted on rifle. Most all phosphate finish remains. Scabbard has very minor scuffing from storage, is supple, and stitching is solid. Very fine overall. TDW CORRECTION: One bayonet has been removed from this lot.
