14K Gold Elgin national Watch Co., Elgin, Illinois, Grade 4, Model 3, Multicolor Hunter Case Pocket Watch with Equestrian Theme, Circa 1887. Beautifully hand engraved and decorated case with horseshoe, helmet and horse head on back cover opposite central shield, framed with flowers and foliage to either side, having no monograms. Case is very crisp and clean. Solidarity case stamped "14K". Very faint hairline crack at bottom of dial running through 7 o' clock Roman marker, otherwise in near mint condition.
