Lot consists of: (A) Pre-WWII 1930s US Army olive drab wool tunic. The tunic displays an original interwar period 1st Infantry Division wool patch. The arms display wool corporal stripes that have an attractive hand sewn cross stitched design. The lower sleeve has a service stripe denoting 3 years of service. The collar displays type II gilt collar discs denoting Company I of the 18th Infantry Regiment. There are stamps in the sleeve that read "9269 BRY" and "4000 BRY" CONDITION: The tunic is very well held together and does not display any rips or tears. All stitching is still tight. There are a few very minor moth nips that are almost unnoticeable. The tunic still retains all of its original buttons and leather belt hooks on the back. Overall excellent. (B) Pre WWII 1930s US Army Enlisted Khaki service coat. The service coat's insignia mirrors that of the wool tunic. The 1st Infantry Division patch is constructed of the same khaki material as the service tunic with a wool Big Red 1 in the center. The arms display machine stitched wool on khaki corporal stripes. The lower sleeve has a service stripe denoting 3 years of service. The collar displays type I gilt collar discs denoting Company I of the 14th Infantry Regiment. There is a pre-WWII sharpshooter badge pinned above the wearer's left pocket. The badge is marked "Sterling" on the reverse. CONDITION: The service coat does not display any rips or tears. All stitching is tight. There are a few moth nips, particularly on the wool insignia. The service coat has very slight staining that is typical on these khaki service coats. The service coat still retains all of its original buttons and leather belt hooks on the back. Overall excellent. (C) WWII occupation made 1st Infantry Division souvenir brass letter opener that is modeled after an M1 bayonet. The blade of the letter opener displays all of the campaigns the 1st ID participated in during WWII. The handle displays the 1st ID insignia on one side and crossed rifles with an 18 denoting the 18th Infantry Regiment. CONDITION: The letter opener displays minor blemishes but is in overall good condition. (D) WWII occupation made wooden swagger stick with 18th Infantry Regiment insignia. CONDITION: Minor scratches and blemishes but in overall very good condition. JD
