Lot contains: (A) An Imperial German bayonet which appears to be of a Hirschfanger style in the shape of a M71 bayonet, but with no provision to attach it to a rifle. Blade is marked with the knight emblem encountered on "W.K.C." blades, is nickel plated with moderate freckling, runner and scattered marks. Blade is bent approximately 10 degrees seven inches from the tip. Solid nickel fittings have patina and light wear, with excellent black grips. Black leather scabbard has moderate wear and nickel fittings have light wear. Blade does not mount perfectly in scabbard to to leather shrinkage. CONDITION: Overall excellent. (B) Third Reich Police bayonet with a "PB LUNESCHLOSS" marked nickel plated blade with light runner, and scattered marks. Nickle fittings a grip are excellent and police emblem is slightly loose. Leather scabbard and nickel fittings have light to moderate wear, with three quarter inch dents. Both the scabbard top fitting and cross guard have matching unit markings of "S.D.IV.629". CONDITION: Overall excellent. (C) Third Reich dress bayonet with an unmarked blade with heavy patina and freckling. Nickel fittings also have heavy patina and grips are excellent. Black painted scabbard retains approximately 20% of its original finish with heavy patina and freckling. Original black leather frog is very good. CONDITION: Good to very good. WZ
