The steel blade of this M33 SS Dagger features the desirable maker's mark for the firm of "Böker". The blade appears to have been lightly cleaned at one time judging by the light remnants of the factory cross graining, which is usually much more prominent on the blades of daggers which have remained untouched over the years. Regardless of the possible cleaning the blade is still quite attractive. Runner marks, with light cosmoline, are observed on each side of the blade, along with some small areas of light greying. The solid nickel silver upper and lower cross guards have a light nicotine patina throughout which complements the daggers ebony grip. The lower cross guard is stamped with the numeral "I" for "München" (Munich). The black ebony grip, with scattered light marks throughout, features a nickel silver inlaid grip eagle and a thin rune SS roundel. The scabbard features solid nickel scabbard throat and drag. The upper throat is missing a screw near the hanger ring. The lower drag has a small crack near the screw on the hanger side. The scabbards body appears to have possibly been period repainted. CONDITION: OVERALL VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT D.W.
