Naval binoculars marked "Carl Zeiss Jena, Made in DDR" which appear to be 20-40 power. Binoculars retain 95+% of their naval gray painted finish and have a mounting assembly on the bottom. Front lens covers are present, focus and power range function properly, and lens swivel from storage position to the viewing position. Original unmarked wooden storage case is present. East Germany no longer existed after 1990, so these predate the Berlin Wall coming down. CONDITION: Overall near mint. WZ
